With it’s recent merger with O2, Virgin Media has become one of biggest telecommunications and media providers in the UK, with a customer base of 47 million, and reported revenues of £11bn in 2020.
To stand out against their competitors and drive more traffic to their website, improve the site’s overall searchability and visibility, SEO is being utilised throughout the site. Quality SEO for the brand has meant increased engagement, traffic and conversions.
The demand for fresh SEO focussed content has lead to a need to refresh in the website's visual design. My role at Virgin Media as visual designer was to develop visual concepts, establish a consistent look and feel of designs and layouts that met brand guidelines and created fresh informative illustrations across a range of their web pages. Being mindful that the visuals embody Virgin's modern and playful brand identity.
